Thank you to everyone that participated. It was a huge success!
Posters are available !! “Faces of Cougar Ridge” is an all-school collaborative project. Each childcreated a self-portrait in art class. The originals were done in black sharpie and oil pastels. The pictures were scanned into the computer and reduced to create a unique poster for every grade. They are full of lively expressions and vivid colors. Enjoy finding your child’s drawing and all of their classmates. A key with all the names comes with each poster. Posters are $20 each and all profits will benefit Cougar Ridge PTSA. To order, contact Sari Israel, sariisrael@juno.com orEmily Palmgren, emily@metsgroup.net. Please specify quantity and grade. Posters will be ready forpick-up at the Spring Open House/Art Fair on Thursday, May 22.

The Cougar Ridge PTSA is a non-profit, member organization dedicated to
serving children. PTSA works in partnership with the school staff to make
Cougar Ridge a place where every child can excel. As a member of the Cougar
Ridge PTSA, you also become a member of the Washington State PTA and the
National PTA. The Washington State PTA provides training and support to local PTSAs and also works
diligently to influence legislation that will benefit education and children.
The theme of the National PTA is "everychild.onevoice". United, we work for
the benefit of all children! Our community has consistently demonstrated its commitment to
children through 100% PTSA membership since 1997. By joining PTSA, you are making a statement that children are important and it is up to
all of us to work together on their behalf!
